Instructor: Ansell Chezan A Life Member of the ISTD and the IDTA. Fellow and Examiner of the UKA. A Licensed British Dance Council and World Dance Council Adjudicator,and Adjudicator for the IDO, also a member of the UKSSDC. In 2007 at the UK Salsa Congress,
Ansell was presented with A Lifetime Achievement Award
for work with the UK Salsa Scene.

It's Hot Salsa's 10th Birthday Party at Trent Park !
Classes as usual then party time starts at 10pm.
We will be opening til 1am for plenty more dancing,
and as usual at our parties we plan to pull out all the stops.

With their combination of infectious enthusiasm and technical partner work, Lee and Shelley represent some of the UK's hottest salsa talent. They are the current UK Professional Champions* and 2006 European Silver Medallists and World Semi-Finalists. They were voted the 'Top UK Dance Act' 2007 and presented with this prestigious award at the UK Congress. Intermediate with Shelley and Lee 9pm. Admission £10.

Dirty Dancing

We’re looking for single dancers aged between 18 and 30 to
compete and star in the second series who’d relish a trip to the US and the
chance to show the world just what they’re capable of!

The series will be filmed over May/June at the original Dirty Dancing film location in Virginia, U.S.A.
and the dancers will have the opportunity to win an incredible prize – a contract with a top LA-based dance agency!

The open auditions are being held at: Laban Dance Studios, Creekside, London SE8 3DZ
on Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March, anytime between 10am and 4pm.
Laban is only a few minutes walk from Cutty Sark DLR station.

We Dance Cuban and New York Salsa (Mambo), with a touch of LA & cross-body (linear)
The Rueda group usually get  to turn a few wheels each week.
Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Pachata, Reggaeton and R & B are all played interchangeably in the club,
they are all very social, casual dances, you don't need a partner - just ask someone who catches your eye
R & B and Reggaeton usually kicks in around 11:15 after the beginners have gone home to leave the floor
to the diehards who can't get enough or don't have to get up early for work !
We are expanding our repetoire to cater for the requests of many who want Ballroom dancing
to be added to the curriculum
with the same fun we have already  - Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Argentinian Tango, Swing,
Jive - or whatever takes your fancy - Just ask !!!
We offer West Coast Swing now on Mondays at Trent park.
Sundays and Tuesdays offer a variety of Latin & Salsa.
