Salsa Transition Sessions....
First of two short sessions of around 30-45 minutes designed to introduce/prepare you for progressing to level 4 salsa. It is recommended that you attend both sessions as each will cover different disciplines. Start at 10:05pm, straight after the main advanced class. As part of Trevor’s ongoing optimistic challenges at Trent Park we’re introducing an ambitious all inclusive programme blending new material with a broader comprehensive overview to give even the most seasoned dancers the opportunity to achieve their full potential and climb to dance floor heaven!
These sessions are at 10pm and included in the £5 freestyle entrance price so there is no extra charge. You must get a wristband prior to this class.
The sessions overall will cover;
* Cuban versus Cross Body differences/appreciations
* Timing
* Lead & Following techniques and exercises
* Cross Body & Copa’s
* Turns and Spins - Lead & Prep
* Lines / Spatial Awareness
If you are serious about improving your salsa and/or looking to move from level 3 to level 4 or in fact already attending level 4 but want to improve your understanding, these sessions are a must. We are raising the bar in 2012... come join us!

Our club runs on merit & 12 years experience at Trent Park - that's why we're always busy - also we have enhanced CRB checks, excellent professional teaching qualifications, members of multiple professional dance organisations & bodies, personal liability & professional indemnity insurance cover and are able to prove our self-employment status - please ask to see copies at the desk - We recommend you insist on inspecting these at all clubs you attend before you part with your money.
We Dance Cuban and New York Salsa (Mambo), with a touch of LA & cross-body (linear)
The Rueda group usually get to turn a few wheels each week.
Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Pachata, Reggaeton
and R & B are all played interchangeably in the club,
they are all very social, casual dances, you don't need a partner - just ask someone who catches your eye
R & B and Reggaeton usually kicks in around 11:15 after the beginners have gone home to leave the floor
to the diehards who can't get enough or don't have to get up early for work !
We are expanding our repetoire to cater for the requests of
many who want Ballroom dancing
to be added to the curriculum
with the same fun we have already - Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Argentinian Tango, Swing,
Jive -
or whatever takes your fancy - Just ask !!!
