UKA Qualifications UKA medal courses leading up to an examination at Bronze, Silver, Gold and You can start training for the medals, when you start learning salsa, as the Bronze level is for beginners, Silver is for intermediate, and Gold is for advanced dancers, and Gold Star is for highest level of all, which is for very accomplished advanced dancers. The UKA also provide examinations for potential teachers, thus setting a standard and providing the UK salsa world with properly qualified and insured teachers. |
Your Examiner : Ansell Chezan The Hot Salsa team is working with Ansell Chezan, a Life Member of the ISTD and the IDTA. Fellow and Examiner of the UKA. Chairman of the Latino/Caribbean Committee of the IDO, as well as on the Argentine Tango, and Special Couples Exploratory Committees. A Licensed British Dance Council and World Dance Council IDSF Adjudicator, and Adjudicator for the IDO, also a member of the UKSSDC. |
